The TTU-3X Series is a simple way to provide clear and high quality communication through glass or any barriers of any kind.
TTU-3X Series is the best choice when it’s impractical to cut a hole through an isolation barrier. The prism shaped units are mounted on a countertop on both sides of the barrier and allow hands-free, clear communication.

Installation
The TTU-3X comes ready to operate. The prism units are quickly and easily mounted on the counter-top on opposite sides of the barrier. The unit can be positioned against the barrier or any location convenient for the user. It comes with a power supply with 100-240 VAC input and 15 VDC, 1A output.

This unit is integrated with a wireless antenna to communicate with our customized wireless headset.

Push To Talk Option
Employees need to push this switch to activate the internal microphone, ensuring that only the intended conversation is heard outside.

Noise Cancellation Option
Automatically lowers outside ambient noise. This option is especially useful in noisy areas like heavily trafficked streets, crowded movie theaters, and gas stations. Customers can have clear communication even with a passing truck in the background. This option is only available in our AC-powered units. The TTU-NC option includes:
ADSP-BF592 DSP processor
16-bit DAC and 16-bit ADC
DSDA processor + noise reduction algorithm that reduces noise by 26–30 dB

Monitoring and Recording Option
Provides a line level audio signal of either “Talk”, “Listen”, or both channels for analog audio recording or monitoring. Please specify when ordering.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Option Compliant Option
To comply with the American for Disabilities Act (ADA), this option allows the TTU-3X to communicate with a hearing aid. It includes:
Monitoring and recording option, providing a line out from the TTU
Induction loop amplifier with power supply
Loop driver antenna to be used around the TTU-3X or placed under the counter
Cables and installation drawings

A Note on Part Numbers
The TTU-3X has a number of options. Adding options to a unit modifies the part number. For example, the standard gooseneck microphone length is 18” but we offer a 10” and 24” option. A TTU-3X with a 10” microphone would be part number "TTU-3X-10.” The options above can be combined to meet your needs. For example a TTU-3X with Wireless, Push To Talk, Noise Cancelling, ADA Compliance, and a 10” microphone would be “TTU-3X-W-PTT-NC-ADA-10.” Note that the ADA Compliant Option includes a Monitoring and Recording Option so the two options can not be combined.
